Ok so this is probably a heart attack on a plate, but every now and then a treat like this should be allowed, shouldn't it? Make a meal of it and serve with a cherry tomato, red onion and basil salad. Oh Boy!

1 Croissant
½ teaspoon Dijon Mustard
1 tablespoon ready made béchamel or cheese sauce
30g grated Cheddar cheese
1 slice of good quality carved ham from the deli counter, (from the bone)

Preheat the oven to 180°C/gas 4. Cut the croissant in half lengthways. Spread the Dijon mustard onto the inside base of the croissant, then spread on the béchamel or cheese sauce. Sprinkle on the grated cheese and lay on the slice of ham, then sandwich together. Place the croissant on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes until the cheese has melted in the middle.
